Slam, founded in 1979 in Genoa, is Italy’s leader in sailing and sportswear clothing and continues to expand in sales and enthusiasm month after month. Our company’s guidelines and inspirations are the sea and sailing as confirmed by our sponsor, the New Zealander, Russell Coutts, international sailing legend and 3-timewinner of the America’s Cup.
High performance sailing experience and advanced technologies in fabrics are selected and utilized when we develop and create our technical and sportswear collections.
Advanced is our clothing line dedicated to those professional sailors who pursue maximum collaboration for their athletic performance. Technology is our sports line for sailors who may not yet be professional but require professional and comfortable garments and our Sportswear line is derived from the sea and sailing but ready for everyday city life or outdoor sports.

Slam’s 2007 Spring-Summer collection is distinguishable for its dynamic and essential styling. We’ve given more attention to our fabric’s technical qualities while maintaining lightness, comfort and, without a doubt, the valuable benefits of innovativeness.
Garments with clean, simple cuts but, at the same time, comfortable for those who love the outdoors and sport. A collection with strong nautical influences for those who are passionate about the sea and sailing, but who are just as happy in the city. A streetwear that is ageless.
Among Slam’s newest arrivals, which will affirm our commitment to the research of new technologies in textiles, we are presenting t-shirts and polo's whose fabrics contain ginseng microcapsules for improved comfort and performance. These shirts are in Meryl* jersey-knit offering ginseng’s beneficial properties: energy, anti-stress, tone enhancement without forgetting its important skin protection and moisturizing benefits for an overall improved sensation of physical well-being.
Another new-comer is the GIOYA AND NAPI polo shirt. Made of hi-tech polycotton with UV select properties, this fabric distinguishes the sun’s rays blocking those rays that are harmful and letting those that tan reach your skin. This garment is breathable, antibacterial and acts like a protective sun cream. Its top characteristics are its extreme lightness and antibacterial feature.
COLORS
We’ve added a touch of brightness to our 2007 collection. Lobster red, Caribbean blue, lime, bluette and yellow will invigorate our basic line of beiges, whites, blues and blends. Perfect garment and accessory combinations are possible.

A jacket with clean styling in 2-layer New Nylon, completely waterproof and breathable. Taped seams with covered 2-way zipper and thermotaped chest pocket. Two external side pockets. Inside cell phone pocket with headphone port and cable keeper. Bottom hem is reinforced with silicon elastic grips. Sleeve cuffs have adjustable fastenings.
Sailbeach Jacket, Cod 101493
Our standard jacket in taslon nylon with a cell phone pocket lined in Awex* for electromagnetic protection. Hood stores in collar, storm flap covers front zip, thermotaped cuffs have Velcro fastenings. Reflective fabric insert underneath zipper, bottom hem in neoprene and water-proof. Reflective strip on left sleeve.

A jacket with a clean and articulated design in water-resistant tussor nylon. Completely taped seams and under front flap ducts for drainage facility. Two thermotaped and laminated external side pockets. Internal cell phone pocket. Adjustable cuffs in PVC (resin) and draw cord hem.

Our solid color Meryl*pique-knit polo t-shirt authenticated with the Slam logo. Twill collar and bottom hem with side vents. Providing breathability and UV protection this garment is designed to guarantee maximum freedom of movement.
